Windows 11 Will Have a Fresh Design and Start Menu

Windows 11 is faster than Windows 10 in a lot of areas and you should consider upgrading. This includes starting up, running apps, browsing the web, and more. The newest versions of Windows are more energy-efficient than previous iterations of the operating system. This iteration of the software is designed to be the safest version of Windows yet released by Microsoft.

1.Centered Start Menu

When Microsoft revealed Windows 11, the first thing that stuck out to users was its new Start menu. The Start button and search option are located at the center of the taskbar by default for new installations of Windows. The last time the Windows interface was associated with a centered menu was when Windows 10X was released. Some key features were salvaged from that project, and we’re seeing some of those features implemented in Windows 11.

2.Start Menu Tiles Seems Like macOS Menu

Windows 11’s new Start menu includes Live Tiles, which are UI elements that are similar to those used in Windows 8. This new search interface will be able to look at your recent documents, and recently used apps. If you’re wondering, it’s not a coincidence that you’re seeing more centered features; part of that is because Microsoft copies ideas from macOS and Chrome OS.

The Windows team’s obsession with design has inspired a lot of similarities in the Android and iOS operating systems. The new Windows 11 includes a new dark and light mode. It has a better visual design than previous versions of Windows.

3.Snap Layout

Several cutting-edge features have been introduced in Windows 11. For example, the updated Windows OS now has snap layouts which let you adjust the size of apps depending on what modes are supported by the updated OS. Snap Group layouts will remember the location of your apps so you won’t have to search for them every time they’re needed. For those who want to switch between multiple monitors seamlessly, the feature will ensure seamless switching of apps.

4.In Window 11 Microsoft Team is Integrated

Microsoft is going to be integrating Microsoft Teams with Windows 11, and the app will be accessible through the taskbar. You can see your existing contacts and add new ones in the Phone app, which is a step ahead of Skype, which is associated with Windows 10. If you want to mute your microphone, all you have to do is click on the universal mute button.

5.Gesture and Widgets

Although Windows 11 also has widgets, touch gestures are a Windows 11 exclusive. The widgets are more advanced than what we encountered with Windows 10. The new Windows 10 includes support for touch and pen input, which makes it easy to use the OS with any kind of screen. In addition to the new ink and voice typing enhancements, Windows 11 will offer support for haptic feedback with some pens.

Windows 11 will be an important part of their business strategy, and Xbox is a major part of that. Windows 11 will support the Auto HDR feature from Xbox, which can automatically adapt to the brightness of its surroundings. Enabling this feature adds HDR to many DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games, but an HDR monitor is needed.

6.New Xbox App in Window 11

Microsoft promises that Windows 11 will deliver faster boot and shutdown times, as well as slicker performance overall. Direct Storage is a new feature built into the Xbox Series X / S. It promises to provide faster and improved game loading times with Windows 11 but will need the latest NVMe drives for this. The new Xbox app will be integrated with Windows 11, so you can play games from the cloud using the latest Xbox app.

7.It Include Microsoft App Store and Android App

Microsoft announced that a new Microsoft Store will be coming soon to the Windows 11 and Windows 10 operating systems. A new app store will include several features, including editorial content to help users find the best apps. It will also include Android app integration through Amazon’s existing store and a new pop-up store that lets people install apps directly from the browser.

This is pleasing information for all involved in android app development. There’s an immense redesign to the Microsoft Store, and it will allow a myriad of apps that were not offered earlier on the Windows app store. These new apps will be Android apps, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as TikTok, and Instagram. Microsoft showed how Android apps and TikTok will work alongside Windows apps.

All in All

Windows 11 is going to be a major update to Windows 10. Windows 11 gives you the option to install the Start menu on any edition of Windows, and it comes with a redesigned look and feel for the Operating System. These new Start menus are very customizable too with a wide range of background colors, fonts, and sizes.

Also, there is a new option called Personalize that will allow you to change the Start menu placement of multiple items at once. Installation of this utility may vary depending on whether you have one or multiple hard drives installed in your PC, but rest assured knowing that once installed, this feature will make sure that you have a consistently awesome Start menu on your PC.
