Xbox chief Phil Spencer revealed the first gameplay footage at the event held at the David Geffen Theater in Los Angeles. The footage showcased the stunning graphics and immersive gameplay of the upcoming titles, giving gamers a taste of what to expect.

Other exciting games announced include “Gears of War: E-Day” and “Doom: The Dark Ages,” a prequel to “Doom.” Both will be released in 2025. “Gears of War: E-Day “introduces a new multiplayer mode, while “Doom: The Dark Ages” features a revamped combat system. A reboot of the “Fable” franchise is also coming in 2025, promising a fresh take on the beloved RPG series.

Following the success of Amazon Prime Video’s “Fallout” TV series, Xbox announced a new update for “Fallout 76.” The expansion, “Skyline Valley,” will be released on June 12. This update introduces a new map, new quests, and a new playable character race, allowing players to experience the game in a whole new way.

During the two-hour show, Xbox president Sarah Bond announced that digital-only versions of the Xbox Series X and S will launch this holiday season. She also mentioned that the company is working on the “next generation” of consoles. The Xbox Series X and S were first released in November 2020, the same month as the PlayStation 5.
